I cannot login because I have no user/password.

Please mail Sascha Meinert about your concerns. He will provide you with anything you need. Please be aware that the password is transported as hash value. Hence, any interception will give people access to the system, but does not help attackers in gaining your password if you should use it for other purposes too. Furthermore, the hash value is saved in the database. up

What do I need to gain access to the system?

Please mail Sascha Meinert about your concern. Access is currently restricted to members of ARRIVAL. Maybe it will be an open database later. If you think you can contribute to our cause please mail Sascha Meinert. Your request will be handled as soon as possible. up

How do I start the client?

2011/07/15 The server has been shut down by now. Please use the new web interface.

How do I check which java version I have installed?

Open the shell and enter

java -version

I'm not happy with my login name.

If you havn't yet done some interaction (e.g. creating something, downloading/uploading something) with the system, mail Sascha Meinert and I'll apply the changes ASAP. If any interaction has be done, a change on the login name can hardly be done. up

I can't change things I submitted.

This works as intended. Users should be sure what they are submitting as other users might use this data already. For the same reason, data cannot be deleted. The administrators may do these changes if necessary. Please mail Sascha Meinert in order to perform these changes. up

Downloaded graphs don't appear on HDD

In the case you queried the system and marked them for download, graphs are not on the HDD even if the system showed me some progress. The system creates download requests, which aren't transfered immediately. To transfer these binary data, you have to open the Up-/Download Transfer Window and start the transfer of binary data. up
